The neuroscience of a confident pitch

Decision research consistently shows that affect arrives before analysis. A pitch that opens with specifications is asking the slowest part of the brain to do the first job.
Open with the tension your buyer already feels, name it more precisely than they could, and only then introduce mechanism. Specifications become proof rather than persuasion.
Close by lowering perceived risk, not by raising perceived value. Reversal, guarantees and clear next steps outperform another benefit bullet almost every time.
